Top traveling tips not only helps others, but it keeps things at bay when it comes to traveling. Remember, Home Alone Movies that most of us grew up watching. Those vacations are the ones that you don’t want to embark on by any means necessary.

We have come up with 12 traveling tips to give today’s travelers a helping hand.

  • Double check all arrangements before leaving in the first place.
  • Make sure you have at least the essentials packed. Toothbrush, hair brush, etc.
  • Make sure you grab the right bags that are packed for your traveling adventure. Lol
  • Double check that you actually have all the important items that you need. Passport, Driver’s License, cash, traveler’s checks, etc.
  • Before leaving the home, make sure everything is clean and tidy.  You wouldn’t want to come home to expired milk or a filthy house. Double check arrangements for pets and house sitter to arrive shortly after departure.
  • Take care of the little things before you leave, this will give you peace of mind that nothing needs to be done while you’re away.
  • Be sure that all bills are up to date if you are planning a lengthy stay. I would say a week; make sure your bills are lined up to be paid. You wouldn’t want to come home to lights that have been disconnected.
  • Make sure you grab the right bags that are packed for your traveling adventure. Lol

Their is more…

  • Double check that you actually have all the important items that you need. Passport, Driver’s License, cash, traveler’s checks, etc.
  • Make sure all accommodations have been taken care of, even if your double checking. It would be best to make sure nothing comes up from someone your paying or relying on. Its just a precaution.
  • Double check the weather conditions. Doesn’t matter if your flying or driving. Either way weather can bring on delays from both sides of the transportation avenue.
  • Don’t for get the kids if they are going, and if not then make sure you take them to the sitter or the dog to wherever they are staying.

I know a lot of this may sound kinda of repetitive and simple, but the simple things is what we forget. Why? It is something that is on auto-pilot as I like to call it. You would normally have all your belongings packed, but rest assured your still counting and making sure you have everything you need. That is why sometimes, the simple things get left out. I could completely understand as well. If I were going to the Bahamas, then I would be dreaming of bikini days with cold drinks by the beach under an umbrella. I am sure and I have actually left a lot of things at home when traveling.

That is why I say sometimes the simple things are the things we forget because of the so called “auto pilot mode”.
